Sonos for Business: VibeBeats on your Sonos system
Sonos support is in beta. You'll need to apply for beta access — applications are currently full. Sonos supplies the speakers and the rooms; VibeBeats supplies directly licensed music with the performance licence already in the subscription, so there is no second invoice from a collecting society. The setup steps below are for venues with approved Sonos beta access.
Sonos setup for approved beta venues. Once your venue has beta access, follow these four steps to connect your Sonos system. Step 1: in the Sonos app, open Settings, then System, then General Settings, then About Your System, and copy your Sonos Household ID. Step 2: in VibeBeats, go to Profile, then Business, then Sonos. Step 3: for approved beta venues, paste the Household ID and tap Save — we email you when your Sonos connection is live. Step 4: back in the Sonos app, open Manage Services, search for VibeBeats and add it, then set VibeBeats as your Preferred Service.
Sonos support in beta is for systems running Sonos S2, including Era, One, Five, Beam, Arc, Move and Roam, plus Amp and Port for venues wired into an existing amplifier. For approved beta venues, rooms and grouping stay in Sonos, so you can run a calm morning list front of house while the gym floor plays something faster. A free trial of the core VibeBeats service does not include Sonos beta access.
